The kinds of businesses I work with.

Consumer subscription businesses

Streaming, membership, SaaS-to-consumer. Pricing, retention, lifecycle, new tiers, product and lifecycle design, data and forecasting, Growth.

Gaming and interactive

Studios, publishers, platforms. Product strategy, subscription and platform economics, GTM.

Founders (pre-seed to Series A)

Senior product perspective before your first CPO hire. Vision, roadmap, org design, hiring, GTM.

Growth-stage (Series B–C)

Fractional or interim senior leadership. Org resets, launch readiness, strategy, hiring your permanent CPO.

What I do.

Vision, strategy, and organisation reset

Clarify where the product is going and why. Re-align teams, stakeholders, and roadmap around a coherent vision that decides what not to do. Covers product organisation turnaround, operating model and process design, and the cross-functional relationships that let strategy actually execute. Done at Audible (Amazon) and Fanatics.

Zero-to-one product development and go-to-market

Take products from blank page to growth. Vision, proposition, architecture, and the operating model to scale from there. Rapid prototyping and structured audience testing to de-risk before building too much. Go-to-market planning - positioning, pricing, channels, launch sequencing - aligned across product, marketing, sales, and ops. PlayStation Plus was built this way.

Product, subscription, and lifecycle strategy

Pricing, packaging, tiering, acquisition, engagement, retention, churn, reactivation. Lifecycle forecasting and growth modelling, the capabilities that drove PlayStation Plus subscriber scale and Audible subscription growth. Platform strategy, partner ecosystems, and platform services where relevant.

AI product pipeline

Identifying where AI creates real product value. Sequencing AI-powered features across a roadmap. Getting them shipped at production quality, not stuck at proof-of-concept. Informed by day-to-day operator work at TEN14.ai and building AI-native products solo at WithAttitude LLC. AI first product development processes and flows.

Four engagement models.

Advisory retainer

2–4 hours per month, recurring. A senior product brain on tap for founders and CPOs who want pattern-matching and a sounding board.

Fractional CPO

1–2 days per week, 3–6 month engagement. Embedded in the exec team. Strategy, hiring, shipping.

Project sprint

Fixed scope, 4–8 weeks. Product audit, strategy reset, launch readiness, subscription pricing teardown, org diagnostic.

Product / Problem assessment

Fixed scope audit, assessment and recommendations - with objective go forward recommendations to achieve your next outcome.

Plus dedicated AI offerings:

Four of the engagements that shaped how I work.

Sony Interactive Entertainment

PlayStation Plus

Zero-to-one creation of the first content-inclusive gaming subscription. Full ownership of product vision, business model, subscription proposition, pricing and packaging, content licensing, roadmap, teams, and commercial targets. Scaled to 37M+ subscribers during tenure; now 50M+ and PlayStation's key quarterly reporting metric. Multi-billion dollar recurring revenue. Pioneered lifecycle forecasting and churn modelling that became the origin of growth prediction across the business. Invented the subscription content licensing model now standard across the category.

Audible (Amazon)

SVP Product Management & UX

Led 90-person product and UX organisation through a full turnaround. Scope included new product development, subscription growth and lifecycle optimisation, Audible-on-Amazon integration, international expansion, and product operations. Shipped Audible Plus and Podcasts on Audible, the company's biggest product launch since founding, introducing a new subscription tier and resetting the organisation's belief in what it could ship. Rebuilt KPIs across acquisition, engagement, retention, churn, and reactivation.

TEN14.ai, fractional, current

GM / VP Product - Games

Foundational AI company building digital twins, behavioral models, and simulation systems for sports, gaming, and broadcast. Define product vision and strategy for the games vertical, translate AI and ML capabilities into productised B2B and B2C offerings, shape platform and model-serving strategy with research and engineering, own external communications, partnerships, and GTM.

WithAttitude LLC, current

Founder & CEO

Zero-to-one development of multiple full-stack AI-native products, solo, from prototype through hardened, scaled build to release. Built end-to-end using Claude Code, Cursor, and Anthropic's API: architecture, front-end, back-end, external API integrations, deployment, and operations. Hands-on operator fluency with modern AI tooling, informing how I advise others to build.

Common questions.

When should I hire a fractional CPO?

Typical triggers: the founder is running product and it's breaking; post-Seed or Series A, scaling feels harder than it should; churn or retention is off and no one owns the fix; a permanent CPO hire is six or more months out; an inherited product org needs a reset before the next senior hire lands.

What does a fractional CPO actually do?

Owns product strategy and the roadmap. Runs the product review cadence. Hires, coaches, and resets the team. Ships the thing that was stuck. Helps recruit the permanent CPO. Usually one or two days a week over three to six months.

How is fractional different from interim or advisory?

Advisory is a few hours a month, pattern-matching and a sounding board. Fractional is embedded part-time with real ownership of strategy and shipping. Interim is full-time with an end date, usually during a transition. I offer advisory and fractional; interim on request.

Which stages and industries fit best?

Pre-seed to Series C. Consumer subscription, gaming, SaaS with a consumer model, and AI-native products. Zero-to-one work (PlayStation Plus) and product organisation turnarounds (Audible). I turn down engagements outside that scope.

When is fractional the wrong model?

If you need someone in the building five days a week. If product decisions can't be genuinely delegated to a part-time leader. If the real problem is engineering capacity, not product leadership. I'll say so on the intro call.

How fast can an engagement start?

Usually within two to three weeks of an intro call. I run a small number of engagements at a time to keep quality high.
